Six renovated grocery stores make their debut, Town Square gets juicy

A barrel of Irish single malt whiskey is displayed in VOM FASS at the Grand Canal Shoppes in the Venetian Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015. The store sells whiskeys and liqueurs on tap and lets shoppers sample them before purchasing. The company also sells wine, specialty oils and vinegars.

This week, the Grand Bazaar Shops welcome another store, a specialty shop opens for those with luxurious tastes, and new restaurants offer foodies even more dining options.

Also, six grocery stores reopen and a new business center announces plans to open in the valley.

    • Lush Cosmetics

      Lush Cosmetics opened their sixth Las Vegas location last week at the Grand Bazaar Shops.

      The store sells ethical skin, hair, bath and body-care products. Sales associates are available at the shop to demonstrate product usage and give massages.

      The new store created 22 jobs, according to the company.

    • California Pizza Kitchen

      California Pizza Kitchen is now open in Downtown Summerlin.

      The new location will offer some new menu items, such as fire-grilled ribeye steak and roasted halibut, along with seasonal items such as roasted garlic chicken, harvest kale salad and lobster flatbread.

      CPK is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    • Vom Fass

      Vom Fass opened in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian last month.

      The shop's owners describe Vom Fass, which sells a variety of liquors, as a candy store for discriminating adults and those who enjoy the finer things in life.

      The store offers scotches, cognacs, whiskeys, brandies, liqueurs, grappas and absinthes. They also offer a variety of vinegars and oils from Italy, France, Spain and Germany.

    • JuiceNV

      Las Vegas-based juice company JuiceNV has announced that a second location will open in Town Square this spring.

      The new JuiceNV will be inside Look Style Society salon and will include a café offering food from an expanded menu.

      An official opening date has not yet been announced, but JuiceNV also plans to open a third location in Summerlin later this year.

    • Smith's

      Smith’s Food and Drug will open six new locations around the valley this week.

      The new locations have been converted from Food 4 Less stores, which underwent more than $4 million in renovations. Updates include pharmacies, deli and bakery counters, expanded meat and seafood departments, floral stations and self-checkout lines, according to a press release.

      The new locations are at 3030 W. Craig Road, 4001 S. Decatur Blvd., 3602 E. Bonanza Road, 4965 E. Sahara Ave., 2255 Las Vegas Blvd. North and 8180 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

    • Canon

      Canon Solutions America will open a sales office in Las Vegas on March 6.

      They will offer printing services, information and document management, and business services, according to a press release. The store will be located on 731 Pilot Road, Suite J.
