      Jeremy Foley was promoted to senior investment sales and leasing associate at Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services. Foley joined the company in 2010 after working in the Las Vegas office of Marcus & Millichap. He received his degree in finance with a minor in marketing from UNLV.

    • Sara Partida joined the Perkins Company as client services manager. Partida will coordinate client strategies during the Nevada legislative session. The Perkins Company, formed in 2008, is a public affairs firm that represents clients before local, state and federal governments.

      Kelley Nyquist Goldberg and Emily Phan were elected shareholders at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. Goldberg is head of the intellectual property and technology department. Phan is a member of the corporate and business group and focuses on mergers, stock and asset sales and acquisitions, securities and capital markets and restructurings.

      Joshua Martin, director of marketing at Exotics Racing, was elected director of marketing for the Las Vegas Hospitality Association board of directors. Martin has more than seven years of experience in the Las Vegas hospitality industry.

    • Salvatore Gugino joined the law firm of Kolesar & Leatham as a shareholder. Gugino focuses on civil litigation, insurance law and labor and employment law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from UNLV and his law degree from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific.

      Chris Fava has been appointed CEO of the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas. He succeeds Steven Horsford, who was elected to represent Nevada’s 4th Congressional District. Fava previously ran food and beverage operations at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Springs Preserve and the academy.

    • Jeffrey T. Bates was promoted to Las Vegas manager of Atlantic and Pacific Real Estate. Bates is a certified expert in distressed property resolution and for three years ranked among the top 2 percent of agents in the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors for total closings.

      Patrice Ross

      Chris Cappas and Patrice Ross have been hired at the United Way of Southern Nevada. Cappas is senior director of the volunteer center. Ross is the chief human resources officer.

    • Caroline Ciocca, community relations director at CashAmerica/SuperPawn, was elected chairman of the board of Crime Stoppers of Nevada, a nonprofit program that enables people to anonymously submit information about crimes and rewards them for information that leads to arrests. Joining Ciocca on the executive committee are vice chairman Larry Folsom, of American Video and Security Ltd.; secretary Julio Garcia; and treasurer and past chairman Brent Bell, of Whittlesea-Bell Transportation.

      Sandi Wachtel has been hired as a “Ready To Learn” project facilitator at Vegas PBS. Wachtel has 17 years of experience in early literacy, family literacy and community program management.

    • Attorney Farhan R. Naqvi was selected for inclusion in National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, which recognizes the nation’s best young trial attorneys. Naqvi founded Personal Injury of Nevada.

      Jeff Yeagley

      Jeff Yeagley was appointed director of engineering, information technology and emergency response systems at Vegas PBS. He previously was president and CEO of Eagle Comm Enterprises, where he served as a consultant for Nevada’s Division of Emergency Management and Rapport Leadership International. Yeagley also worked previously with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as its radio systems and fleet operations manager.
