Las Vegas business leader Don Snyder has been honored with the Free Enterprise Award, given for a legacy of business excellence, contributions to the community and for embracing the principles of free enterprise. The award was presented April 17 at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon at Aria.
During his business career, Snyder has provided guidance in the banking, gaming, entertainment, information technology, energy and construction industries. He is the dean of the UNLV William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration and has most recently served as the chairman of the Smith Center for the Performing Arts Board of Directors.
The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Employers Association of Southern Nevada and the Nevada Taxpayers Association have jointly presented the Free Enterprise Award for more than four decades.
