Schettler joins Colliers from Focus Property Group Inc., where he served as the executive vice president of sales and acquisitions for 16 years. Schettler’s work at Focus included winning several Bureau of Land Management land auctions in Clark County, including two sales each exceeding $500 million. Schettler joined the Focus Property Group family of companies in 1996 and remains a founding partner of Focus Property Group Inc.
Schettler is a survivor of a very rare type of bone cancer and is heavily involved with many local and national charities as a result. For the past 16 years, he has served on the board of directors for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Nevada. Schettler is a 42-year native of Las Vegas and a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School. His strong relationships within the local real estate and development community give him a clear understanding of economic and real estate trends in the Las Vegas Valley.
With Schettler comes longtime Executive Assistant Nicol Montalto. Montalto joined Schettler’s team at Focus Commercial Group Inc. in July 2005. A licensed real estate agent, Montalto handles all of the financial aspects of the entities managed by Schettler.
