White Castle makes Las Vegas debut; restaurants open at Lou Ruvo Center, Linq, Aria

New restaurants are making their way downtown and on the Strip, from upscale dining to healthy to-go options.

A local clothing boutique, Haute Chix, is closing, and White Castle lovers can celebrate as the restaurant moves from the Midwest to Las Vegas.

Rachel’s Kitchen opens its second downtown location, Off the Strip debuts at the Linq and Bardot Brasserie is now at Aria.

      Rachel’s Kitchen opens another downtown location this week in the Lou Ruvo Center, featuring more of its healthy food.

      This location is the eighth in the valley, the other downtown location is in the Ogden, 150 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

      The restaurant features brightly colored bistro tables, healthy dishes, juices and more.

      Rachel’s Kitchen serves all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner. The trendy restaurant is recognized for its award-winning salads.

      The new location is at 888 W. Bonneville Ave. and is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

      The Linq got a new addition as Off the Strip, a bar and bistro, opened last week.

      In 2007, the restaurant opened a location in Southern Highlands and is now expanding to treat more of Las Vegas.

      The 11,000-square-foot restaurant is located near the Linq promenade and has indoor and outdoor seating.

      The menu features a range of comfort food items, including steaks, chops, seafood and pasta dishes.

      You can find Off the Strip at 3545 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

      Mother-daughter boutique Haute Chix has closed one of its locations.

      The trendy boutique owned by Nan Chong-Esposito and Selena Viskovich still has a location open in Southern Highlands.

      Haute Chix features women’s clothes, accessories and shoes in a variety of styles and colors.

      Haute Chix Boutique was located at 6870 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 120.

    • White Castle will open with a ribbon cutting Tuesday at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard.

      White Castle will now be available beyond your local grocery store’s freezer aisle.

      A new location is coming to Las Vegas, located within the Best Western Plus Casino Royale Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard.

      A ribbon cutting will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, and the restaurant will open to the public at 2 p.m.

      The best-selling original slider burger along with other sandwiches and burger specials will be available.

      The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is located on 3411 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

      White Castle is family owned and operates 400 restaurants in 12 states. Currently, the closest restaurant to Las Vegas is in Cape Girardeau, Mo., more than 1,500 miles away.

    • Bardot Brasserie opened Jan. 21 at the Aria.

      Bardot Brasserie opened Wednesday, bringing a piece of Paris to Las Vegas dining.

      The upscale restaurant is open for dinner and weekend brunch inside Aria.

      Award-winning chef Michael Mina’s menu is inspired by the culture of Paris and includes unique dishes such as monkfish bourride, sautéed skate wing and yellowfin tuna niçois.

      The drink menu was cultivated by Aria mixologist Craig Schoettler; Wine Director Kim Wood; and Mina Group’s Director of Cocktails, Carlo Splendorini. It features fine wines, exotic cocktails and more. Nightly happy hour is from 5-7 p.m.

      Bardot Brasserie is located on the second floor of Aria and is open for dinner from 5-10:30 p.m. daily and for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
