Anyone who wants custom glass in their home or business, those buying supplies or seeking to learn the art. And the casino industry. It’s difficult to walk through casinos and not see beautiful stained-glass pieces. At times, these pieces are in need of repair. We offer that service as well as custom designs for new construction.

Do you have a favorite piece?

We have had the pleasure of completing many personalized pieces that become a favorite at the time. Most recently, we collaborated with a Disney artist who has a residency here in Las Vegas, Tennessee Loveless. On this piece, Tennessee provided the template of Mickey Mouse and Lead in the Window provided the mechanical means of creating the end result of an awesome collaboration.

Where do you get your inspiration?

The customer inspires us. When someone comes into the store, they describe their vision, layout and colors, and we are blessed to make their vision a reality.

What makes your business unique?

We don’t exist on every street corner. Stained glass is almost a lost art, yet it exists in almost every city or town in America and abroad. You see stained glass in your local church, casino and residential doorways. As long as it is around, there will be repairs or additions needed.

What is your business philosophy?

Our goal is to bring a modern view to an age-old art, to not allow the beautiful craft to die.

What’s the most important part of your job?

The customers. If we can put their vision into glass … seeing their happiness when that is accomplished is all we can ask for as glass artists.

What is the hardest part about doing business in Las Vegas?

The hardest part about doing business in Las Vegas, more specifically at the outdoor shopping venue at the Downtown Container Park, has been the heat of the summer months. The summer months have kept individuals from visiting during the daytime hours.

What is the best part about doing business here?

You can’t help but be thankful for doing business in Las Vegas, and especially in one of the most vibrant, coolest structures in the world — the Downtown Container Park. Not many can turn 160 square feet of a shipping container into a vibrant business.

Where do you see the company in five years?

We see Lead in the Window with a strong commercial client base as well as our regular customers bringing glass into the residential environment.
