The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada honored local attorneys who last year provided more than 17,000 hours of free legal services to low-income Nevadans in Clark County. More than 850 clients received pro bono representation through the center. Among those who received awards were:

• 2012 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year: Patricia Lee, Hutchison & Steffen

• Lied Award for Most Pro-Bono Hours for Law Firm: Snell & Wilmer (1,167)

• Lied Award for Most Pro-Bono Cases for Law Firm: Hutchison & Steffen (47)

• Lied Award for Most Pro-Bono Hours for Attorney: Cynthia L. Alexander (295)

• Lied Award for Most Pro-Bono Cases for Attorney: Israel “Ishi” Kunin (27)

• Myrna Williams Children’s Pro Bono Award: John Krieger, Lewis & Roca

• Louis Wiener Service Award: Corinne M. Price, The Fine Law Group

• Justice Nancy Becker Pro Bono Award of Judicial Excellence: Clark County District Court Judge Betsy Gonzalez

• Vince A. Consul Memorial Pro Bono Award: Patricia A. Trent, Trent, Tyrell and Associates

• Small Law Firm of the Year: The Dickerson Law Group

• Access to Justice Award: Gordon Silver

• Pro Bono Award of Excellence: Marquis Aurbach Coffing

• Public Interest Law Student of Distinction: Alexandra Varela

• Ask-A-Lawyer Community Commitment Award: Jenica D. Yurcic Westerman

• Volunteer Surrogate Award: Bill Kissam
