Gaming Commission agrees to $15,000 fine for Andre Agassi, partner

The Nevada Gaming Commission today approved a settlement for a minor gaming regulation violation complaint against a company involving retired tennis great Andre Agassi.

The state Gaming Control Board filed a complaint earlier this month against Flamingo Investments LLC, which operates the Sedona Lounge in Las Vegas, which holds a restricted gaming license. The complaint named the company as well as the partners in the venture, Agassi and Adam Corrigan, and their respective gaming trusts.

In the Control Board's complaint, Flamingo was accused of modifying the ownership percentages of the partners and changing corporate names without notifying the board. The changes were made in 2003 and discovered in audits.

Under terms of the settlement, the company and partners were fined $15,000.

Agassi was not required to attend the hearing and was not present.
