Title: General manager of the High Roller

Tell us about the High Roller.

The High Roller is an observation wheel that will be the world’s tallest when it opens. Similar to the London Eye in concept, it will have large cabins but stand more than 20 percent higher.

It is just one piece of the Linq, a new open-air retail, dining and entertainment district in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.

What qualifies someone to run an observation wheel?

I believe my experience operating numerous attractions with similar capacity and emphasis on guest service is invaluable. (Eberhart spent 26 years working for the Walt Disney Co.) My years of industry experience will allow me to teach my team to anticipate operational challenges and enhance the overall guest experience.

What is the best business advice you ever received, and whom did it come from?

The best advice came during an orientation class at the Disney University. They taught us to treat all of our guests as if they were a guest in our home.

What challenges do you face doing business here?

The High Roller will be competing with all the attractions in the Las Vegas area. Our guests have limited time, and our goal is to be on top of their list for the venue they most want to visit.

What’s the best part about living in Las Vegas?

I am an outdoors person, so I enjoy having the mountains, the desert, as well as the lake for water sports.

If you could change one thing about Las Vegas, what would it be?

I would love to see more professional sports venues here.

What are you reading?

I am a huge Tom Clancy fan. I am reading his latest novel, “Threat Vector.”

What do you do after work?

I just moved to the city, so I am getting our new home organized for my family to join me this summer.

Blackberry, iPhone or Android?

I am an Apple person all the way!

Describe your management style.

I believe my teams are very creative. I provide goals, and they have always amazed me in developing solutions for obtaining those goals.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself operating the No. 1 tourist destination in Las Vegas.

What is your dream job, outside of your current field?

I would have loved to have been a Navy fighter pilot, but my eyesight let me down.

Whom do you admire and why?

I admire the men and women of our space program for being so creative and forward looking.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Someone who promises something and then does not fulfill their promise.

What is something that people might not know about you?

I once drove submarines for the Disney navy.
