Two local companies recently were honored for design work at the 2012 AIGA Work Show. VIRGEN Inc., a strategic marketing, public relations and creative arts firm, received two bronze awards for work on the “Get Your Lux On” project and “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth – Live on Stage.” 3 Martini Lunch Advertising and Design received three merit awards and a bronze award for work completed for ventriloquist Terry Fator and model Taylor Makakoa.
For the 10th consecutive year, Cox Digital Telephone was named the top provider of home telephone service in the Western Region by the J.D. Power and Associates U.S. Residential Telephone Customer Satisfaction Study. The survey measures customer satisfaction with local and long distance telephone in areas such as performance and reliability, cost of service, billing, promotions and customer service.
Wells Fargo has created a Military Affairs Program to help active duty military and veterans buy homes, find jobs and return to school.
U.S. Water Holding Company has acquired Culligan of Las Vegas. All 26 employees were retained in the deal. The USW Culligan Group owns and operates 18 Culligan franchises in six states and the District of Columbia.
