      Stephen James has been named general manager at Park Place Infiniti. The dealership on West Sahara Avenue is the company’s only location outside of Texas. James has more than a decade of experience in the auto industry.

    • Carmen Pendleton recently was recognized as part of the lia sophia “Excellent Beginnings Program” for her sales and professionalism. Pendleton earned the designation during her first 15 weeks with the company.

      Tricia James has been named director of Las Vegas-based Tattoo Vanish Inc. and Professional Permanent Cosmetics. James oversees daily operations and assists with trying to expand both companies.

    • Nancy Cole, a volunteer for the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, was honored for her exemplary commitment and service during the 52nd annual meeting of the Nevada Hospital Association.

      Marci Mauro

      Marci Mauro has joined ResortCom International LLC as director of human capital and performance. Mauro will focus on internal and external coaching, creative direction and new product training.

    • Aqeel Shahid has been named general manager of Telesphere’s southwest desert region. Shahid will oversee the telecommunications company’s operations and sales in Nevada and Arizona.

      Jessica Carroll

      Jessica Carroll has been appointed Ready To Learn coordinator at Vegas PBS. Carroll is responsible for all Ready To Learn programs and activities, including coordinating school workshops focused on literacy, math and health. She has been a member of the Vegas PBS team for more than 12 years, beginning her career as an intern in the production department and most recently serving as a teacher and family project facilitator.

      Veronica Mabe has been elected president of the Las Vegas chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Mabe is a longtime resident of the valley, with 25 years of experience in architecture, engineering, banking and government contracting.
