Datanamics Inc. has renewed its silver certification from Microsoft in the Communications competency. To earn a silver competency, partners must demonstrate expertise through rigorous exams, culminating in Microsoft certifications. To ensure the highest quality of services, Microsoft requires customer references for successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District has been awarded a 3-Star rating in Library Journal’s fifth edition of annual evaluations of public libraries. This is the first year it has received a star rating from Library Journal. This year, 7,570 libraries were evaluated, and 262 libraries received star designations.
Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes Sunrise Hospital’s commitment and success in implementing excellent care for stroke patients, according to evidence-based guidelines. Sunrise Hospital achieved 85 percent or higher adherence to all Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality Achievement indicators for two or more consecutive 12-month intervals and achieved 75 percent or higher compliance with six of 10 Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality Measures, which are reporting initiatives to measure quality of care.
The city of Henderson was honored by the Association of Energy Engineers for its regional leadership in energy efficiency. The city was recognized as Energy Project of the Year in Region V for its citywide, multiphase energy savings performance contract with Ameresco. Beginning in 2006, the $23 million ESPC implemented by Ameresco is a combination of energy conservation and operational savings measures that will save the city just more than $2 million annually in energy costs.
The Glenn Group, one of Nevada’s largest advertising, interactive and public relations agencies, has relocated its Las Vegas office to the Holsum Lofts in downtown Las Vegas. The Glenn Group, a statewide agency that has been in the Las Vegas area for more than 30 years, has more than 12,000 square feet of space in the downtown office.
CMS Developer Services, a construction company, and Transparent Mental Health, a company providing mental health services, have moved to new offices at Sandhill Executive Suites. It is at 6166 Sandhill Road in Las Vegas.
Cashman Equipment, Nevada’s Caterpillar dealership, has been chosen as Newmont Mining Corporation’s 2012 Regional Supplier of the Year for North America. Cashman was selected among more than 2,500 suppliers. The Supplier of the Year awards recognize Newmont’s top regional and global vendors for their contributions toward lasting partnerships.
BOMA Nevada has announced the winners of this year’s TOBY Awards. They are: Earth Award, city of Henderson’s North Community Police Station; government building, city of Henderson Robert A. Swadell Justice Facility; office building of 250,000-499,999 square feet, Molasky Corporate Center; Pioneer Award, Henderson Multigenerational Center Aquatics Complex and Pavilion; Industrial Center, Henderson Commerce Center IV Phase II; Corporate Campus, Pearson Building at NV Energy.
The Palms and architectural firm Klai Juba Architects were honored with the 2012 HOSPY Award for Best Typical Guestroom based on their work on the property’s Ivory Tower room transformation. The ninth annual HOSPY Awards are presented by the Hospitality Industry Network Las Vegas and recognize extraordinary achievements in the hospitality industry in architecture, design and development.
MGM Resorts International has earned a perfect score from the 2013 Corporate Equality Index, an annual HRC survey that ranks major companies for their nondiscrimination and benefits practices with respect to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. A total of 889 businesses have been rated in the 2013 CEI, of which 252 achieved 100 percent, earning them the coveted distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.”

Bellagio has been recognized as a 2012 Fodor’s 100 Hotel Award winner in the Global Icon category. This distinction designates Bellagio as an outstanding hotel as selected by Fodor’s, a leading name in travel guides.
Connections Housing has relocated and expanded its full service West Coast sales, operations and marketing office in Las Vegas. The new office, at 6375 Pecos Road, Suite 205, provides space for additional account managers, reservationists and other team members who will work with the company’s growing client base in Las Vegas and throughout the country.
