The law firm of Hutchison & Steffen was recognized as “Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year” by Nevada Legal Services. NLS is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to low-income Nevadans.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has received Gold Certification from the International Association of Convention Centers for excellence in convention center performance. The honor is given to 21 centers worldwide. Convention centers were rated on facility performance, financial accountability and integrity, economic impact, customer service, security, employee and supplier relations, community relations and environmental responsibility.

Wells Fargo & Company has launched a Business Credit Center that offers small business owners a free online resource to learn about credit. Features including information about how to develop a strong credit application and how to calculate how much financing a business needs. Wells Fargo has been America’s No. 1 small business lender for 10 years for loans that are less than $100,000 and less than $1 million, according to Community Reinvestment Act data.
