Maryellen Cobb of New York won a $150,000 electric Tesla Roadster on a slot machine at the Cosmopolitan on the Las Vegas Strip.
A lucky New Yorker recently won a sports car at the Cosmopolitan.
Maryellen Cobb took home an electric Tesla Roadster earlier this month. The zero-emission vehicle is valued at almost $150,000.
Cobb won the car playing a penny slot machine. A pull of the handle revealed a message saying “Jackpot Tesla Roadster.”
Cobb had joked earlier that her daughter, who was with her, needed a new car.
It was their first trip to the Cosmopolitan.
The casino-hotel featured the roadster prize to promote a car charging station on its property. Guests can plug their electric vehicles in for free until they are fully charged.
