MGM Hospitality signs deals for 3 hotels in India

MGM Hospitality, the lodging arm of casino operator MGM Resorts International, has signed deals to develop and run three hotels that are part of a large development in Mumbai, India.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

MGM Hospitality said Tuesday that the Bellagio hotel, MGM Grand hotel and Skylofts hotel will be part of the approximately 20-acre Maker Maxity complex in Mumbai. The complex also includes five commercial office buildings, a luxury retail development and a private club.

"MGM is honored to be selected for this landmark project which marks a huge milestone in our strategy to extend our brand reach in the sophisticated and fast growing Indian hospitality market," MGM Hospitality CEO Gamal Aziz said in a statement.
