Tom Naseef has joined Colliers International-Las Vegas as senior vice president of the Investment Properties Division. Naseef brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience to Colliers, where he will focus primarily on office investments. He has held positions on several boards, including the Southern Nevada CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Chapter, Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors Commercial Alliance and Nevada Association of Realtors. Jeff Naseef, Tom Naseef’s son, and Debbie McLaurin also are joining the Investment Properties Division. Jeff Naseef, a Durango High School graduate who began his career in 2007 at Coldwell Banker Commercial, will serve as marketing specialist, focusing primarily on investment and office real estate. McLaurin, who was named National Office Manager of the Year in 2001 by Coldwell Banker Commercial Corporate, will serve as executive assistant.

Stephanie Kennedy has been named executive assistant to the president at ManagedPAY, a human resource, payroll, employee benefits, workers compensation and insurance services company. Kennedy most recently was the company’s benefits manager.

John O. Swendseid has been appointed chairman of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation’s Committee on Tax Exempt Financing. The committee addresses issues related to the federal exclusion from gross income of interest on state and local bonds as well as issues related to tax credit bonds. Swendseid and Jennifer Stern lead the Las Vegas and Reno law offices of Swendseid & Stern. Both were recently named Best Lawyers in the area of Public Finance Law by The Best Lawyers in America, a publication for the legal profession.

John Archibald is the new general manager for Platinum Hotel and Spa. Archibald will direct all hotel, spa and food and beverage operations for the property. He has served as manager of six different company operations during his 18 years with Marcus Hotels + Resorts.

Garry Cuff recently was honored as the only Nevadan to earn a 2011 Commercial National Award from the National Association of Realtors. Cuff, a past president of the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas, is a commercial real estate broker at Colliers International, specializing in the multi-family housing market and in real estate investments.
The national award recognizes members who demonstrate professional excellence in the commercial real estate industry.
