Keli Elkins and Holly Wetzel
Keli Elkins has been promoted to vice president of industry relations and Holly Wetzel to vice president of communications of the American Gaming Association. Elkins has been with the AGA since 2002, serving as director of special projects and playing key roles in organizing Global Gaming Expo and G2E Asia. Wetzel joined the AGA in 2005 as communications director.
Tim Heuermann and Stuart Leitner
Tim Heuermann and Stuart Leitner have joined Buca di Beppo as paisano partners of the Paradise and Summerlin locations. They will be responsible for the overall operations of the restaurants. Keri Keep is the new sales manager of the Summerlin location, and Kaaren Kragerud is the new sales manager of the Paradise location.


Mark Goldstein and Steve Oshins
Two Las Vegas attorneys received individual honors from Best Lawyers in America, a peer review publication for the legal profession. Mark H. Goldstein of the law firm Lionel Sawyer & Collins was selected as 2012 Las Vegas Real Estate Law Lawyer of the Year. He has been with the firm since 1981, and has been included on the Best Lawyers list since 1993. Steve Oshins of Oshins & Associates was cited as the 2012 Las Vegas Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year.

J. Brin Gibson
J. Brin Gibson, a sixth-generation Nevadan and an attorney in Lionel Sawyer & Collins’ gaming and regulatory law department, has been appointed to the Colorado River Commission by Gov. Brian Sandoval.
Raja Majid
Raja Majid, the owner of Origin India Restaurant and Bar, has received the Restaurant Neighbor Award in the small business category from the Nevada Restaurant Association.
Stephanie Kennedy
Stephanie Kennedy has been named executive assistant to the president at ManagedPAY, a human resource, payroll, employee benefits, workers compensation and insurance services company. Kennedy most recently was the company’s benefits manager.
