Treasure Island is expanding its bar and nightlife offerings with the addition of a Senor Frog’s location.

The property announced Monday it will be adding the brand to its lineup of bars, which will be Senor Frog’s second location in the U.S. The restaurant and bar also has locations in Cancun, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico. Construction on the venue will begin later this year.

Treasure Island’s other nightlife venues include Kahunaville, Breeze Bar and Gilley’s Saloon, which owner Phil Ruffin added last year.

  1. Phil Ruffin is trying to appeal to too many markets at once and none of them are taking the bait. First a BBQ joint, then 'Phils' Italian Steakhouse, then that Pizzeria restaurant and now a Senor Frogs. All that money he made before the down turn must be clouding his judgment. Where is his marketing director? When the economy rebounds it's going to be hard to market these 3rd rate restaurants that no one will care about even if they do represent value.
