Caesars Palace features six hotel towers, which will include the newly announced Nobu Hotel, replacing the existing Centurion Tower.

Caesars Palace announced today it will open its rebranded and renovated Centurion Tower as the Nobu Hotel next summer.

The hotel-casino first announced in March that it was partnering with Nobu Hospitality to turn the tower into a Nobu Hotel, restaurant and lounge. The brand currently operates 24 restaurants around the world, including one at Hard Rock Hotel, but the venture with Caesars Palace will be its first hotel.

An opening timeline wasn't released when the announcement was first made. A spokesperson from Caesars Palace said the tower will close in the fall to undergo renovations.

Caesars said the revamp of the Centurion Tower will be a “multi-million renovation,” but didn't give an exact price tag.

David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group, who also did much of the Cosmopolitan and interior of Crystals at CityCenter, will lead the interior design of the 180-room Nobu Hotel. A 11,200-square-foot, 327-seat Nobu restaurant and lounge will be located in the center of the hotel.

Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality also said in a release today that they expect other global opportunities between the two organizations.
