Cantor Gaming to run sports book at downtown’s Plaza

Cantor Gaming today announced an agreement in which it will run the race and sports book at the Plaza in downtown Las Vegas.

The deal commences early next year at the hotel-casino, which this week is showing off its newly-renovated property.

"We are excited to offer a fully refurbished race and sports book next year. We are confident that with Cantor Gaming, we will introduce an unforgettable sports wagering experience in downtown Las Vegas that matches the stylish, comfortable and classic Las Vegas experience that we have created at the Plaza," Plaza executive Tony Santo said in a statement.

Santo is CEO of Santo Gaming, the licensee of Plaza operator Play LV.

Cantor, which offers mobile gaming products, earlier announced deals to run sports books at the Venetian and the Palazzo; the Cosmopolitan, the Tropicana, the Hard Rock and the M Resort.
