Las Vegas hotels earn prestigious AAA Five Diamond Award

AAA has started to release the winners of its prestigious Five Diamond Award for 2012, and at least seven Las Vegas hotels have been named to the list. Las Vegas Sands announced today that both the Venetian and Palazzo have received the award. This marks the fifth consecutive year for the Venetian and third for the Palazzo. Wynn Resorts also released today that Wynn and Encore Las Vegas have been awarded Five Diamonds, the sixth for Wynn and third for Encore Three MGM Resorts International hotels have been named to the list so far: the Sky Suites at Aria, Sky ...

I thought it interesting that Harry Reid has finally kept his word. A while ago, Harry suggested that conventions avoid Las Vegas in preference to other locations. It was revealed today that the convention of Senate comittee staff is being held in Maui. None of this Five Diamond stuff for good old Harry. I am sure he has not required the staff stay in any hotel that would cost as little as the hotels in Las Vegas are charging. Spare no expense on flights when the government is paying for it.

FOOD IS EXCELLENT AT THE VENITIAN AS WELL. YOU CAN HANG THE LIGHT OUT FOR US WE WILL BE BACK SOON.
