Las Vegas Entrepreneur and Artisan Team Up for New Business Venture

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Las Vegas Entrepreneur and Artisan Team-Up for New Business Venture
Grazing Grill is First-of-its-kind Barbecue Picnic Table

Las Vegas, NV (August 13, 2014) – Eager to bring a new concept to the outdoor entertaining market, a local entrepreneur and artisan have joined forces to create the Grazing Grill.

Conceived as a hybrid picnic table and gas barbecue, the Grazing Grill seats four to six diners, and also includes dual beverage chillers. Co-owners James Cass and Ryan Ingram believe that integrating multiple features into a single piece of modern-inspired outdoor furniture will help bring back what they call “old-school social networking.”

“Our goal is to give friends and families a whole new way to interact and enjoy spending quality time together,” says Cass. “Traditionally one person is stuck at the grill cooking for everyone else, but with the Grazing Grill you can cook alongside loved ones. In fact, our company motto is ‘Don’t Grill Alone!’”

Cass, who grew-up in Las Vegas, became an entrepreneur two years ago when he started the city’s first mobile chapel, The Las Vegas Wedding Wagon. He says that the experience taught him the value of finding a niche in the marketplace as well as the rewards that come with taking the risk to be your own boss. The idea for the Grazing Grill came about after a brainstorm session with friend Ingram.

“From concept to completion, it only took us a few weeks,” says Ingram. “It all just came together naturally, because we started by asking ourselves ‘What would we want in something like this?’”

Ingram is a third-generation steel worker and artisan whose past work includes everything from floating steel staircases for modern homes in Aspen, Colorado, to a custom balcony railing for a in-home DJ booth at a residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now based in Las Vegas full-time, he says the Grazing Grill is something of a dream project that allows him to be artistic while creating something both fun and functional.

The Grazing Grill website soft-launched the last week of July, and first deliveries are scheduled to begin in late-August. “We have about a three week order period because each Grazing Grill is hand-built to order,” explains Cass. “In this day and age of overseas mass production, we think our customers will appreciate the care we’re taking to build them right here in Las Vegas.”
