Officials at McCarran International Airport are encouraging passengers flying or picking up arriving passengers today to check with their airlines regarding weather-related flight delays.

The Federal Aviation Administration said flight arrivals have been delayed up to three hours and five minutes most of this afternoon as a result of low flight ceilings and weather.

A storm brought more than an inch of rain to Southern Nevada over the past two days. There’s no indication when normal flight schedules would return at McCarran.
