Nikki Ganger is a concierge at SLS Las Vegas. Clyde Smith, formerly a shuttle bus driver for a Marriott, has been promoted to the hotel’s front desk. Ganger and Smith are recent graduates of the International School of Hospitality.

Dr. Jason Jaeger and Dr. Bobby Moore, along with Dr. Lyle Burkhardt from Pensacola, Fla., have published “Resolution of Urinary Incontinence Following Chiropractic Biophysics Protocol to Reduce Vertebral Subluxations” in the Annals of Vertebral Subluxation Research health journal. Jaeger and Moore work with Aliante Integrated Physical Medicine.

Terry Shirey is president and chief operating officer of Nevada State Bank. He had been the bank’s chief financial officer.

Lewis Roca Rothgerber attorney Anthony Cabot and UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law Associate Dean Ngai Pindell have edited a comprehensive guide to international gaming regulation, “Regulating Land-Based Casinos: Policies, Procedures, and Economics.” The book explores the role of government in gaming regulation, obligations and opportunities for casinos and public support for gaming tax revenue.

Nancy Wood is donor and community relations director; Glennyce Nelson is finance manager and Theo Smith and Amanda El-Takrori are part-time program coordinators at After-School All-Stars Las Vegas. Wood comes to ASAS from the Alexander Dawson School. Nelson is a transplant from South Dakota, where she established her career in public accounting. Smith is from New Orleans and El-Takrori is a Silverado High School and UNLV graduate.

Michelle Chatigny, Jennifer Martinez, Ondra Berry, Randy Robison and Ken Andriessen have joined the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada. Chatigny is IGT’s vice president of compliance. Martinez is Konami Gaming’s vice president of human resources. Berry is MGM Resorts International’s vice president of diversity and inclusion. Robison is CenturyLink’s director of legislative affairs. Andriessen is NSTech’s director of enterprise resources.

Mark Martino will manage the architectural division of Stable Development, which offers commercial development, acquisitions, property management and real estate investment services.

Kenda vonHamm is market director for senior product operations for Humana in Arizona and Nevada. She has more than 25 years of health care experience in the commercial and Medicare markets.

Brothers Gregg and Brad Carlson have acquired the Five Guys Burgers and Fries franchises in Carson City, Reno, Henderson and Las Vegas. The most recent restaurant opened at 10965 Lavender Hills Drive in Downtown Summerlin.

Kathy Davis is North American sales manager at TraffGen after more than 15 years in casino gaming.

Palm Mortuary, in partnership with Nevada Donor Network and Donate Life, will honor the memory of Las Vegas teenager Jesse Tyler Hill with a custom floragraph — a portrait made of floral and natural materials — at the 2015 Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif. On New Year’s Day 2013, while walking to a park, Hill and his girlfriend were struck by a car on a residential sidewalk. Hill donated organs, cornea, tissue and bone.

Neil Dille, owner of Aire Serv of Las Vegas, received the Top Gun award and team member Jeremy Anderson received the Excellence in Management award from Aire Serv corporate during the 2014 International Convention.

Marcus Yoder is vice president of regulated markets business development for Gamblit Gaming. He will manage relationships with casino operators, regulators, industry groups and equipment manufacturers.

Gov. Brian Sandoval proclaimed Sept. 24 United States Marshals Day, to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Palm Downtown Mortuary and Cemetery unveiled its first dedicated star honoring early Las Vegas civil rights leader Jimmy Gay in its Garden of Dreams. Gay is remembered for his work to bridge the gap between black and white communities and assisting many blacks with employment. The Garden of Dreams, a permanent monument to the civil rights movement, is made up of 14 stars, symbolizing the 14th Amendment.

Yaniv Rosenberg, co-­founder and president of the Las Vegas-­based International Pet Group, has been named a winner in the 2014 Pet Age Forty Under 40 awards program. Pet Age is a national publication covering the pet industry.

Don Thrasher is president of Park Holdings, a new entity whose first priority will be the execution of the Park, now under development between the Monte Carlo and New York-New York. Thrasher was president and chief operating officer of Circus Circus.

Eric Fitzgerald is general manager of Circus Circus Las Vegas. He was senior vice president of hotel operations at Excalibur and Luxor.

Ann Hoff is general manager of Excalibur.
