Brandon Saliba is senior vice president and wealth management advisor for the Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank. He has more than 18 years of experience in the industry. Saliba previously was a vice president and private banker with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Erica Benson is branch manager for Nevada State Bank’s West Sahara location, where she oversees banking operations and client services. Benson has been with the bank for more than 10 years in numerous positions, including professional banker, branch service manager, business center manager, territory sales manager and small business relationship officer.

Attorneys Eric Goldberg and Eve Karasik joined Gordon Silver as shareholders and will open the firm’s first California office in Los Angeles. Thomas Salerno also joined the firm as a shareholder and administrative partner in charge of the Phoenix office. All three are members of the firm’s business restructuring and bankruptcy practice group.

Lionel Sawyer and Collins shareholder Elizabeth Brickfield joined the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council.

Christopher Mathews, a shareholder at Lionel, Sawyer and Collins, graduated from the FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy. Twenty business, religious, civic and community leaders are chosen to attend the annual eight-week program.

Dr. Graham Linck is a physical therapist at Aliante Integrated Physical Medicine. He has worked locally for the past six years locally and recently became one of the first physical therapists to be Fellowship Certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics. Additionally, AIPM is undergoing a build-out to add 1,500 square feet of treatment space for physical therapy, physiotherapy, functional rehab/exercises and performance enhancement.

Angela Thornton is executive director of Henderson Libraries. She was previously manager of Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library in Oklahoma City.

Richard Wong is a senior associate, Michael Brazill is an investment sales associate and Maribel Calderon and Cash Jordan are associates with the Investment Services Group at Sun Commercial Real Estate. Wong has 20 years of experience and previously wroked for Nevada Land and Powerhouse Platinum Realty Corp. Brazill has more than 25 years experience in aviation asset management. Calderon previously worked for Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services, while Jordan was with Team Ford in Las Vegas.

Brian Loftus is co-anchor of the KLAS-Channel 8 morning newscast, He joined the company in September 2009.

John Knott is executive vice president and global head of gaming, Michael Parks is first vice president and Brent Pirosch is director of gaming consulting at CBRE Las Vegas. Additionally, Matt Bear joined CBRE as a vice president. Together, they will form the company’s Global Gaming Group.

Foundation for Recovery honored nine people for promoting addiction recovery. The honorees were: Community Partner Award — Bob Coffin, Las Vegas city councilman, and David Caloiaro, chief of administrative programs, planning and quality for the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health; Community Awareness Award — Ted Moody, former assistant sheriff, Metro Police, and Jon Ponder, CEO of Hope for Prisoners; Award for Excellence in Addiction Research and Education — Jamie Davidson, associate vice president for student wellness at UNLV, and Collegiate Recovery Advocate Stacie Mathewson; Robert Rehmar Addiction Professional Award — Jeff Iverson, president and CEO of Freedom House Sober Living, and Bob Forrest, program director at Arcadia Malibu; the Brick Award (for longtime service) — Bill Ryan, clinical outreach director for Constellation Behavioral Health Services.

Restaurant db Brasserie by Chef Daniel Boulud opened at the Venetian.

Craig Galati, owner and partner of LGA, earned the certified professional services marketer designation from the Society for Marketing Professional Services.

Gary Congdon is president of Lee and Sakahara Architects. He started with the company in 1996 as a vice president and opened the Las Vegas office. He was promoted to senior vice president/principal in 1999.

Lewis Roca Rothgerber’s gaming partner Anthony Cabot was honored by the UNLV Gaming Law Journal with an award in his name. Law student Kerry Kleiman received the inaugural “Anthony Cabot Award for Best Student Note” for her paper “Keeping Casinos Clean: The Problem with Dirty Money and International Differences in Anti-Money Laundering Regulations for Casinos.”

Attorney Beverly Salhanick was elected and installed as chairwoman of the board of directors for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1468. She is an 18-year lodge member and is co-chairwoman of the Whiskerino committee of Helldorado.

Dancer, choreographer, actress, producer, director and author Debbie Allen is Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Woman of the Year for the 31st annual Black and White Ball scheduled for January 2015. The event is the company’s largest fundraiser.

Dr. Rutu Ezhuthachan, a local pediatrician and medical director for United Healthcare, was named CDC Childhood Immunization Champion for her efforts to promote childhood immunization in Southern Nevada.

Bradley Beal, president and CEO of One Nevada Credit Union, joined the board of directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.

Allstate agent Sally Hiew’s office was designated an Allstate Premier Agency for 2014. She has been an agency owner for 10 years.

Kevin Stickelman, president and general manager of the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort, received a 2014 Sammy Leadership Award from Ski Area Management magazine. Stickelman was one of four people nationwide to receive the recognition.

David Russo is director of operations and Staci Shute is events manager at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center. Russo was events manager since 2011, while Shute worked previously at the Hard Rock Hotel.
