Michael Erin is chief of staff and global initiatives manager at the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. He is a former U.S. Army captain.

Lauren Peña was certified as a matchmaker from the Matchmaking Institute. She is co-founder of Project Duo, a Las Vegas matchmaking and date coaching company.

Susan Vogel, vice president of finance and chief financial officer for UnitedHealthcare of Nevada, Utah and Idaho, joined Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s board of directors.

John Saccenti was promoted to executive director of the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. He has been a part of the bowl staff since 2001.

Salvador Avila, branch manager of the Enterprise Library, received the Dr. Arnulfo D. Trejo Librarian of the Year award from REFORMA, a national organization that promotes library and information services to Latinos and Spanish-speaking communities.

Thomas Auriemma is part of MGM Resorts International’s compliance committee. He was a gaming regulator in New Jersey for more than 28 years and served as deputy director and director of the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement.

The Trauma Intervention Program of Southern Nevada recognized local emergency responders during an annual Heroes with Heart Gala.
