Annie Emprima-Martin is the veterans coordinator at Vegas PBS. She is a staff sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard.

Fisher Industries relocated to 3920 Leon Ave., Suite 2, Las Vegas. The company deals with heavy civil and heavy highway projects, including large-scale civil engineering ventures. Joseph Miller is the Nevada area manager/project manager.

Ashcraft & Barr moved to 2300 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas. The firm specializes in business law, corporate law, government relations, commercial real estate and land use law, gaming law, commercial litigation, crisis management, regulatory compliance law and medical marijuana. The firm is led by Alicia Ashcraft and Jeffrey Barr.

Dr. Ashraf Osman, a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon and clinical assistant professor at Stanford University, joined the St. Rose-Stanford Clinics Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery program. Osman is double board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery and general surgery and is on the faculty of Stanford’s cardiothoracic surgery department.

Michelle Nalepa and Kayla A. Rowzee are physical therapists at Matt Smith Physical Therapy, 3155 W. Craig Road, Suite 140, North Las Vegas.

Julia Gilmour, Adam Porsborg, Michael Speciale and Marilyn Valenzuela joined Quillin Advertising, Public Relations & Social Media. Gilmour is a social media strategist; Porsborg is an advertising account executive; Speciale is a media buyer, and Valenzuela is a coordinator.

Dr. Susan Ritter, a family practice doctor, works at Dignity Health Medical Group, affiliated with the Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican hospital system, at 10001 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 203, Henderson.

Joseph Decker is administrator of the real estate division of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry. He assumes the position previously held by Gail Anderson, who was named deputy commissioner of the Division of Insurance. Decker most recently served as deputy commissioner for the Nevada Division of Insurance.

Dr. Shirley Rodriguez, doctor of osteopathic medicine, joined HealthCare Partners Medical Group‘s Nellis clinic, 821 N. Nellis Blvd., Las Vegas.

The Hammargren Tribute Hall of Antiquities is being developed at Boulevard Mall. The project pays tribute to the antiques collected by former Lt. Gov. Lonnie Hammargren. Auctioneer Dudley Sewell will be operations manager for the project.

Allstate Insurance Company opened a new office at 3215 St. Rose Parkway, Suite 1, Henderson. It is independently owned and operated by Jeremy Peltz.

Dr. Josh Hamilton is associate dean of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Roseman University in Henderson. Hamilton also is president and chief clinical officer at the Hamilton Group, a behavioral health care clinic in Las Vegas.

James Kilber joined the board of directors of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Kilber is executive director of the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada.

Dr. Lane Smith of Smith Plastic Surgery won the Best Overall Patient Enhancement award at the Aesthetic Awards in Las Vegas.

Jess Lankford is chief administrative officer of Nevada OSHA. He previously served as program coordinator.

Madeleine Sigman-Grant, a maternal child health and nutrition specialist and professor at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, won the Western Region Excellence in Extension award. Sigman-Grant’s work has focused primarily on child-feeding guidelines, childhood obesity prevention and community breastfeeding programs.

Ben White is senior director of tax services at BDO USA, a professional services organization. He will direct the Las Vegas tax department, manage clients and provide support to other offices.

Robert J. Caldwell, a shareholder at Kolesar & Leatham, begins a two-year term as an officer of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Caldwell will serve as the section’s revenue officer.

Shepherd Eye Center opened at 9100 W. Post Road, Las Vegas This is the clinic’s fourth location in Southern Nevada. Dr. Brian Alder and Dr. Raymond Theodosis will provide care.
