      Ray Jones, an attorney in Snell & Wilmer’s Las Vegas office, has been appointed to UNLV’s Lee Business School’s International Business executive advisory board. The board provides insight and direction to the faculty and international business students. Jones’ law practice is primarily focused on international trade, real estate, finance and import and export issues.

      Karen Domico is an executive assistant at KTUD-TV. She previously was a secretary at the law offices of Dixon, Truman, Fisher and Clifford.

    • Jim Tainter has been named to the executive advisory board at the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at UNLV. Tainter has more than 25 years of real estate executive management experience. He joined Harsch Investment Properties in 2011 as senior vice president and regional manager for Southern Nevada.

      Steven Lampinen

      Dr. Steven D. Lampinen has joined Nathan Adelson Hospice as medical director. Lampinen earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from UNLV, then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. He completed his family practice residency through the University of Nevada School of Medicine as chief resident.

    • R&R Partners, a marketing and government public affairs firm, announced it will expand its Denver office less than a year after it opened. Three new staff members will be hired, and the company’s international portfolio will be expanded. Kweku Boafo, an expert on projects in Ghana and Indonesia, joins the firm as international affairs director. Jacqueline Meason will move to Denver from the Las Vegas office, and Elizabeth Ryan has been hired. R&R has 300 employees and seven offices in the west and in Washington, D.C. Sean Tonner is managing director of the Denver office.

    • Eric Geisler was promoted to senior project manager and Catherine Black was hired as director of business development at Shawmut Design and Construction. Geisler joined Shawmut in 2005 and has worked in Las Vegas since 2008. He will be responsible for the oversight of Shawmut’s Las Vegas operations and will manage pre-construction and construction phases for restaurant, retail and gaming projects. Black joined Shawmut earlier this year after owning her own business development consultation practice for 14 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality.

    • Quality Care IPA, a local independent physician association, has added several specialists to its network. Dr. Stuart Feldman is a podiatrist in private practice at 8955 S. Pecos Drive, Henderson. Dr. Leo Germin, Dr. Darlene Mullon, Dr. Amandeep Dhillon and Dr. Ali Syed are neurologists at Clinical Neurology Specialists, with locations at 1691 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson; 7751 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas; and 1320 E. Calvada Blvd., Pahrump. Quality Care IPA has approximately 135 primary care and 350 specialist physicians in Southern Nevada.
