      Mark M. Weisenmiller and Elias Pete George have joined the Gordon Silver law office. Weisenmiller is an associate in the firm’s business restructuring and bankruptcy department. George is an associate in the litigation department.

      The law firm of Kolesar & Leatham has hired two attorneys. Jonathan Winn joins the firm as an associate in civil commercial litigation and corporate law. Jason Bacigalupi, also an associate, practices commercial and general civil litigation, including real estate finance, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, regulatory compliance issues and bankruptcy. Both attended the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law and graduated in May.

      Ron Spratt has been appointed manager of City National Bank’s Cheyenne branch in North Las Vegas. Spratt replaces Cathy D’Andrea, who retired after more than 35 years in the industry. Spratt has close to 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.

    • Noor Al Huda Benavraham-Khan has been hired as director of marketing and business development for Origin India Restaurant and Bar. Born and raised in New York City, Benavraham-Khan studied finance at New York University.

      Don Danis

      Don Danis has been hired as senior manager of Harsch Investment Properties’ Speedway Commerce Center in Las Vegas. The commerce center is one of the largest industrial developments in Las Vegas, totaling 1.4 million square feet. Danis brings more than 30 years of real estate experience to the position.

    • The Destination Services Association, a nonprofit state tourism group, has added four new members: Sue Matzek, a writer with “Tradeshow Lifestyles,” a hospitality industry publication; Emily Higby, business development director at Destination Marketing; Michael Nelson, a special events booker for nightclubs and showrooms on the Strip; and Tanya Adams, director of sales at Stoney’s on the Strip.

    • Lorenzo Creighton has rejoined MGM Resorts International with a focus on developing gaming markets in the eastern United States. He previously served as CEO of Gateway Casinos, a Vancouver company that manages 12 casinos in Canada. Prior to that, he worked for MGM Resorts as president and COO of New York-New York and the MGM Grand Detroit. He also was president of the Flamingo, general manager of the Lady Luck in Natchez, Miss., general manager of the President Casinos in St. Louis and senior vice president of operations at Bally’s Casino in New Orleans.

      Chris Beets has joined Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services as an investment sales and leasing associate. Beets previously worked in the Las Vegas office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services as an associate for the national office and industrial properties group. He has an associate of arts in paralegal studies from Las Vegas College.

      James Gibson, regional sales manager of Red Rock Financial Services, has won a seat on the Nevada chapter of the Community Associations Institute Board of Directors. Gibson will serve a three-year term as the Northern Nevada member at large.
