Mercedes-Benz of Henderson has earned the company’s “Best of the Best” Dealer Recognition award for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes its success as an independent entrepreneur.

Highland Manor of Mesquite was recognized with the gold award as the state’s top-performing health care facility working in post-acute care by the Nevada Health Care Association Perry Foundation. Winning the silver award was Silver Ridge Health Care Center, Las Vegas, while Silver Hills Health Care Center, Las Vegas, collected the bronze.

The Orleans Arena was awarded LEED Gold certification for existing buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council. It’s the first arena in Nevada to receive that recognition. The certification caps a multiyear effort to incorporate sustainable practices throughout the arena’s operations.

The Clark County Commission presented a proclamation to Nevada State Bank, recognizing the bank’s commitment and support to the Clark County Business Opportunity and Workforce Development program.

Sambalatte, a coffee restaurant, is planning to open at the outdoor plaza at Monte Carlo on May 1. It will be the brand’s largest venue to date.
