The Sauter Companies changed its name to NAI Vegas to reflect its acquisition of the NAI brand.

The Durango office of HealthCare Partners Nevada Pediatrics, a group of pediatric providers in Southern Nevada, received a Silver Syringe Award from the Southern Nevada Immunization and Health Coalition, in partnership with the Nevada State Immunization Program. It acknowledges the clinic’s outstanding immunization rates. Durango Pediatrics was one of only 19 practices in Southern Nevada to receive the award.

Healthier4U Vending of Las Vegas was ranked No. 17 among the Top 100 fastest-growing franchises for 2014 by Franchise Gator.

McCarthy Building Cos. received a 2014 Training magazine Top 125 Award. As the highest-ranking construction company, McCarthy held the No. 6 spot again this year. This is the fourth year McCarthy has received this recognition and the third year in a row the firm has placed in the top 10. McCarthy also won a Training Top 125 Best Practice Award for the firm’s change management and technology training initiatives.

Clarify 360, the cloud and data center division of TeleProviders joined the Cobalt Data Centers channel sales program. Clarify 360 customers needing colocation and disaster recovery services in the Southwest now have preferred access to Cobalt.

Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Siena Campus, broke ground on a tower that will increase the hospital’s capacity to 360 private rooms. The tower is being built by Kitchell and designed by Orcutt|Winslow Partnership. The five-story tower, at 3001 St. Rose Parkway, will offer an additional 141 private rooms. The 220,000-square-foot project includes 28 additional emergency bays and 19 observation beds for a total of 73 patient treatment locations within the emergency department. Completion is expected in early 2016.

Recreation Development Co. was awarded the subcontract for the architectural metalwork for the Shops at Summerlin.

The SLS Las Vegas will become part of the Preferred Hotels and Resorts guest loyalty program, which includes a worldwide collection of 450 hotels and resorts. The 1,600-room hotel is expected to open Labor Day weekend.

Newave, a compliance and efficiency software supplier to the gaming industry, installed its myCompliance Manager software at the Downtown Grand in Las Vegas. Newave serves more than 55 clients in the area and more than 300 nationwide.
