Verizon Wireless received the highest award for overall network performance in Nevada, based on a report from RootMetrics. RootMetrics ranked U.S. wireless providers in reliability, speed, data, call and text network performance.

AT&T added seven mobile Internet cell sites in Las Vegas to expand its 4G LTE coverage. The areas include Mesa Verde Lane and Duneville Street, Eastern Avenue and Hardin Drive, County Coach Drive and Conestoga Way, Eastern and Owens avenues, Paradise and Desert Inn roads, Tamarus and Rawhide streets, and Fort Apache Road and Wigwam Avenue.

The Nevada State Contractors Board has won the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies’ 2014 Innovation in Regulation Award.
