Fred Segal has signed a partnership to be the exclusive retailer at SLS Las Vegas. The brand will encompass nearly 10,000 square feet of retail space with seven stores: She, He, Jeans, Shoes, Jewels, Play and Goods.

Five nursing homes in Nevada have been awarded HealthInsight Quality Awards. The nursing homes are Highland Manor in Mesquite, Silver Ridge Health Care Center in Las Vegas, Rosewood Rehabilitation Center in Reno, Renown Skilled Nursing in Sparks and Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City. The awards recognize nursing homes for demonstrating excellence in health care.

KRE8 Media acquired Big Traffic, making it the largest and only fleet of mobile billboards in the Las Vegas market.

NetEffect, a computer and information technology support and consulting service provider, earned placement on CRN’s 2014 Next-Gen 250 list. NetEffect is the only Las Vegas company to be included on the list.

Three Fresenius Medical Care Clinics, which help patients with dialysis for kidney disease, won Fresenius Medical Care Center of Distinction awards for encouraging adoption of home dialysis and exceptional patient care. The honorees were FMC South Pecos, FMC Rainbow and FMC Northeast.

The Flamingo Water Resource Center and the Laughlin Water Resource Center treatment facilities were honored with Gold Peak Performance Awards by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies. The award recognizes public agency facilities for excellence in wastewater treatment.

Galaxy Outdoor, a barbecue grill retailer and outdoor kitchen manufacturer, built a studio kitchen for Fox 5.

Seventeen South opened at Tahiti Village, 7200 S. Las Vegas Blvd. The restaurant is the first at the private resort to be open to the public.

Made.LV, a restaurant from Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla, opened at Tivoli Village.

Kindred Healthcare, Inc., the largest diversified provider of post-acute care services in the United States, is now a strategic partner in Silver State Accountable Care Organization. In Southern Nevada, Kindred operates three transitional care hospitals, one hospital-based transitional care center, and three home health, hospice and non-medical home-care locations.
