Another variation of the Wheel of Fortune slot machine is now offered in a free-to-play digital casino.
International Game Technology announced today that the Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin game is available in the company’s DoubleDown Casino, which offers free online and mobile games. It comes about two months after the company made Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond available in its social casino.
Triple Extreme Spin brings with it some new bonuses.
The game’s mini wheel bonus includes scatter symbols that transform into three simultaneously spinning mini wheels, for example, and its triple extreme bonus prompts players to pick an envelope that could let them win big.
Wheel of Fortune is among the most popular games for brick-and-mortar casinos — IGT touts it as “the most successful slot title of all time.” With more than 200 variations of the game inside casinos in more than 20 countries, the title has paid out $3 billion in jackpots since its 1996 launch, according to a news release.
IGT says even more Wheel of Fortune games will be coming to DoubleDown in the future.
