Caesars Entertainment announces changes in executive positions

Caesars Entertainment has appointed a new president of hospitality.

Tom Arasi comes to the role after a stint with Las Vegas Sands. His responsibilities include food and beverage, hotels, nightclubs and nightlife in Las Vegas.

Arasi will also monitor upgrades on the east side of the Strip at properties including the Linq development, the Quad and the forthcoming Gansevoort Las Vegas — the former Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall.

The company also shuffled veteran Caesars executives Tom Jenkin and John Payne into new positions. Jenkin is now president of destination markets and Payne steps up to president of central markets and partnership development.

Jenkin will take over company operations in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Northern Nevada, Laughlin, and Northwest Indiana.

Payne will take over operations in Missouri, Iowa, Mississippi, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio and Louisiana and oversee Caesars developments in Maryland, Massachusetts and other forthcoming markets.
