Auto racing is coming to the Linq next month.

The Strip’s fledgling open-air mall and entertainment complex will host the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross championship finale Nov. 4 and 5. The race will be held at the property’s event lot at Winnick Avenue and Koval Lane.

“The LINQ prides itself in pushing the envelope and creating new and enticing environments for all of our guests to enjoy and hosting the Red Bull Global Rallycross will create a phenomenal experience,” Jon Gray, the Linq’s vice president and general manager, said in a statement.

This will be the third consecutive year that the event has been held in Las Vegas. Andretti Sports Marketing is working with Caesars Entertainment’s officials to produce the race.

Another big auto racing event may soon join it on the Strip: Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One’s chief executive, recently said he’s in talks to bring a grand prix to the streets of Las Vegas. Ecclestone said it would be “on the Strip for sure,” according to the Independent.
