Do you have a rainy day fund? If you're a Nevadan and you don't, you're apparently not alone.
According to a report released today by WalletHub, Nevada is the third least financially literate state, coming in behind only Mississippi and Arkansas.
The top states for financial literacy, according to the report, were New Hampshire, our neighbor, Utah, and Virginia.
The report considered factors like high school dropout rates, the number of people with a rainy day fund and the number of households without a bank.
Nevada ranked especially bad on borrowing from non-bank lenders, where the state was part of a three-way tie with South Carolina and Oklahoma for last place.
