Passenger traffic at Las Vegas airport up 1.2 percent in October

Passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport was up 1.2 percent in October compared to the same month a year ago, with 3,729,896 travelers arriving and departing.

For the year to date, traffic at the Las Vegas airport was up 0.2 percent to 35,239,944 passengers compared to the same period in 2012.

Passenger traffic for October was up across the board, with an increase of 1.7 percent for international carriers and 0.9 percent for domestic airlines.

Among the top five commercial carriers at McCarran, Delta saw the biggest boost in October, up 9.9 percent. The biggest loser among the top airlines was Allegiant, which was off 3.4 percent.
