Las Vegas-based La Bonita Supermarkets has opened its fifth store in the valley.
General manager Armando Martinez said the new location at Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard has created 120 new jobs.
"We have managed to see growth during the past few years due in large part to our loyal customers," Martinez said in a release announcing the opening. "Our new location was one that we knew would create additional jobs and help the Las Vegas community."
La Bonita has been in Southern Nevada for more than 20 years. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled at the new location at 1 p.m. Saturday.
