The high-end crystal company will take over 1,100 square feet and sell jewelry, home accessories and decorative items.
“Swarovski’s licensed-boutique business model thrives in highly trafficked casinos and airports,” said John Heidt, Swarovski’s retail vice president. “We see the Forum Shops at Caesars as the ideal location for our next licensed boutique.”
Swarovski has 21 licensed boutiques in the United States. A dozen are located in casinos, including the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. A location at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is closed for remodeling. There also are Swarovski stores at Fashion Show mall and Town Square.
A licensed boutique looks and feels like a regular Swarovski boutique but it is owned and operated by a retail partner. In the case of the Forum Shops, the boutique will be owned and operated by Marshall Retail Group.
Swarovski officials say they hope to open more licensed boutiques in the coming years. Twelve are planned for 2012, and five will be located in casinos.
The Forum Shops store will feature Swarovski’s “Crystal Forest” design and include crystal strand panels, a Chrysalis chandelier, a stainless steel prism exterior, white prism walls and white lacquer furnishings.
