Invoking libel protection provided by existing local laws, the group of Japanese pachinko mogul Kazuo Okada has gone to a Philippine court to sue erstwhile Las Vegas casino partner Stephen Wynn for “criminal defamation.” Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc., the local unit of Okada’s gaming firm Universal Entertainment Corp., filed at the city prosecutor of Paranaque City the criminal complaint against the chair of Wynn Resorts.
